This web page provides instructions kindly provided by Richard G0ILN for operating the Chinese clock kit described in the July 2015 Key Note on page 45.

Programming digital clock

  • Push both buttons simultaneously to get into programming mode.
  • On the left of the display you will see a letter.
Push the left button to jump through the menu "A to I" (some of the letters look distorted like "B" looks like an "8" and "D" a "0".)

Right button scrolls through the hours, Minutes, On, Off.
  • A:-Sets the hours.
  • B:-Sets Minutes.
  • C:-Chime on or off. (I think that is the hourly chime.).
  • D:-Alarm number one. On or off.
  • E:-Alarm number one set the hours.
  • F:-Alarm number one set the minutes.
  • G:-Alarm number two. On or off.
  • H:-Alarm number two set the hours.
  • I:-Alarm number two set the minutes.
It is not as complicated as it sounds.  It will only take you a few minutes to get the hang of the settings.
